"Digital marketing? You mean managing social media?"
That’s one of the most common questions I get when I talk about my work. And while it's not entirely wrong, the real answer is: yes… and no.
Digital marketing goes far beyond managing social media accounts. It involves the strategic use of all available digital tools to build a strong online presence that reflects your brand’s identity, attracts new customers, and builds loyalty among existing ones.
A solid digital marketing strategy ensures consistency across your business, website, social platforms, and all online communications—whether through organic content or paid advertising.
What Does a Digital Marketing Strategy Include?
Simply put, a digital strategy involves:
Setting clear, measurable, and realistic goals
Understanding your target audience (buyer persona)
Choosing the right digital channels (SEO, social media, email marketing, online ads, etc.)
Creating valuable and engaging content
Measuring, analyzing, and optimizing every action
But as we’ll explore in future posts, there’s a lot of research, planning, creativity, and consistency behind every strategy.
